FMV Trasmissioni Meccaniche was born as a foundry which is joined by the mechanical machining department. This includes gravity die-casting foundry in aluminum alloys, while managing more than 10 different alloys, and the foundry, which combines craftsmanship, skills and innovation. Sergio Valiani experienced the thrill of seeing the birth of a new product from his father, inheriting passion and dexterity, which he transfers to future generations. Later in Fmv the craftsmanship was flanked by robotization, attention to the environment, and environmental certifications to optimize processes that have the lowest possible environmental impact. The green choice is present at every moment of production, in every choice of the company. As evidence of the great attention paid to production quality, the foundry sector has a robotic melting mechanism flanked by 18 casting machines and three melting furnaces; within the company there is a "metallurgical technologist" for a continuous investment in research and development, also in the foundry department.
